About Gary

A refugee from Llanelli - South Wales, now based in the beautiful picturesque seaside town of Eastbourne in East Sussex, Gary has always had asperations of being a Star from his very first public performance at the age of 3. Both his parents were Entertainers as well and he made regular appearances with them at the famous Stradey Rugby Club in Llanelli where they were the regular duo. At the age of 10 he joined the local Amateur Dramatic Society and there began his lifelong passion for all things Musical Theatre. 

Just after his 16th Birthday he started his first professional engagement, playing keyboards and singing at The Greenfield Inn, Llanelli, where he became the regular entertainer every Wednesday and Saturday nights for the next 3 years. It was there that he developed his wide variety of styles and repetoir in singing and his honest and amusing banter he has with an audience. At the age of 20 he started working for the Bourne Leisure Group at their flagship holiday park - Kiln Park in Tenby, South Wales. 
He arrived in Torquay late October 1991 where he joined the Skyline Group at the Templestowe Hotel as male lead vocalist and comedian in thier twice weekly cabaret floor-show. In 2001 he joined The Matpro Theatre Company Ltd in Torquay for thier Summer season variety show 'The Sounds of Laughter'. Still performing with the company today Gary has enjoyed many Summer and Christmas productions working in both the beautiful Babbacombe Theatre in Torquay and the historically majestic Royal Hippodrome Theatre in Eastbourne He has been proffessionally entertaining audiences all over the UK and Internationally with his camp humour and versatile singing voice for the last 27 years.
